Alfred Nathan House wins Heritage Award

Congratulations to Architectus and Salmond Reed Architects for winning the New Zealand Institute of Architects Heritage Award this year for Alfred Nathan House.

This building at the University of Auckland was commended for a design which, “accentuates the richness of the original features of a building that dates back to 1882.”

The restoration included an addition to the rear and seismic upgrades.

Greenstone Group is proud to have provided project management services for Alfred Nathan House.  We were proactive in engaging with Council, the heritage consultants, and contractor to bring this project to life.  This was a complex project and innovative mechanical ventilation solutions were used to protect and preserve the heritage elements and character of the building.
