Greenstone Group now on the ground in Wellington
Leading project and property advisory company Greenstone Group is opening an office in Wellington to meet growing demand from new and existing clients.
The move to the capital, which will expand the company’s national coverage alongside offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, and Christchurch, coincides with Greenstone winning a new $10 million project in the city.
Greenstone Group Managing Director Phil Eaton says the company has a large number of government-related clients and having a presence on the ground will mean it can work more closely with them.
“It’s exciting to finally open a Wellington office and have a strong presence in the capital – it’s been far too long. We have some well-established clients here and demand continues to increase due to continued growth in the city with ongoing infrastructure projects and both private and public work.”
Greenstone has led a broad range of projects around the country including Auckland’s SugarTree apartments and the transformation of heritage site St Kevin’s Arcade on Karangahape Rd, through to the reinstatement of Christchurch Art Gallery.
Nick Jones, an experienced project manager/director, will lead the Wellington operation.
With vast construction knowledge and management experience on projects such as the ANZ new branch rollouts and Wellington’s David Jones store, Eaton says Jones’ has both the expertise and personality that is needed to run a diverse range of projects.
He says Jones is an ideal fit for Greenstone which has a three-step project management approach that encompasses ideas, transformation, and reality.
“We wanted a person who can lead projects and work with clients to get the results that they want, and Nick is the right person for the job.”
