Greenstone Group was appointed development, leasing and project managers for this new mixed-use precinct on Auckland’s North Shore.

This development consists of several key elements. These include a new high street featuring retail as well as cafes, restaurants, bars, and an internal atrium with convenience retail and a flagship Countdown supermarket. The development also includes 1800mof commercial office space, with 246 basement car parks and a further 149 at street level.

A significant part of this project is the provision for future stages of residential, commercial and retail development. Emphasis has been placed on urban design principles to incorporate high quality landscape design and architecture for an inviting atmosphere with connections to the adjacent park.

Greenstone Group is actively working to add significant value to the project in a number of ways, including reviewing and revising designs for efficiency, managing the masterplanning of the site and advising the client on the best procurement strategies to maximise value for the project. The resource consent application process was also managed by Greenstone Group to ensure design certainty for the project team.

For this project in particular Greenstone Group is focusing on adding and enhancing value through our expert leasing management skills. The emphasis will be on ensuring the right tenant mix is achieved to complement the new Countdown format and provide amenity for the commercial office tenants. This involves strategic marketing plans and the ability to identify, negotiate and secure the right tenant with an appropriate covenant in this competitive leasing market.
