Junior Project Manager – Hamilton
Greenstone Group is looking for a Junior Project Manager based out of our Hamilton office. We have a strong track record securing and delivering numerous landmark projects across New Zealand all resourced by a team of talented PM’s from various niche backgrounds with experience both locally and internationally.
You will be joining a highly skilled group of professionals who are focused on providing a fantastic experience and great outcome for their clients. You will be part of a forward thinking and innovative company whose management team encourage healthy internal collaboration and are passionate about developing their people and growing the business by securing exciting signature projects in the region.
The Hamilton office is located in a light and modern working space right in the centre of town. You will be working with a professional team of project managers with a strong emphasis on mentoring and career development but ensuring fun along the way.
We are looking for someone to work alongside experienced project managers on various projects with public sector clients. You will be expected to take ownership of a number of projects single handedly with supervision however, in the future as you gain experience and develop your project management skills you will be given opportunities to manage larger more complex projects across a wide range of clients and project types.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has some experience in the construction industry either in a consulting or contracting capacity who would like to get into project management, or as a recent graduate with a construction related qualification.
This role will suit someone with relevant qualifications and entry level experience within project management who has had some exposure to construction projects in particular within the public sector.
Experience – To thrive in this role you will have a minimum of one years previous New Zealand based experience working within a construction/contracting or professional services environment and hold relevant tertiary qualifications.
Skills – You will have some experience with operating a QMS or ISO management system and have the ability to adopt existing defined procedures, processes and systems and following instructions from senior consultants..
