Health & Safety at the Forefront

Health and Safety is a top priority for Greenstone Group, ensuring that not only those on active sites, but also the general public are not put at undue risk from the work we do. In establishing a robust and transparent process we have bought on a Health and Safety expert, Matt Jones.

Matt is the founder of Advanced Safety, is HASANZ Registered, Prof NZISM and a Safe365 Premium Partner. In his role at Greenstone he will provide professional assurance at all levels, offer insight into our policies and procedures and identify early emerging trends.

WorkSafe and the construction and property industry continue to produce new guidance material and recommendations. Keeping on top of all these changes, the introduction of new materials, technologies and tools is complex and Greenstone is dedicated to being at the forefront of these changes. Ultimately what regulators want to see is consultants maintaining robust communication channels with contractors to ensure they in turn have sound contractor management processes in place.

Over the coming months Matt will be developing a series of training modules for our team that can be electronically accessed. They are designed to provide a refresher on responsibilities with a key focus on ‘how’ we put health and safety into practice.
