Yesterday we had a blessing to officially open our new office in Newmarket. This was led by Clay, from Ngati Whatua Orakei. This was a special and spiritual process that allowed us to connect with our new building.
Greenstone Group is expanding to meet growing demand from new and existing clients as large-scale projects ramp up and have moved our Auckland offices to a larger space at 1 Broadway in Newmarket. This is to accommodate staff growth in both our Project and Development Management teams, and administration areas.
The move follows the opening of our Wellington office last year alongside established offices in Tauranga, Hamilton and Christchurch.
Managing Director Phil Eaton says the office move is driven by the need to grow the team as well as enhance and expand the company’s expertise.
“With continued growth around the country, ongoing infrastructure projects, and both private and public construction projects ramping up, our workload has increased with bigger projects and a number of new clients and projects coming on board.
“To ensure we can continue to grow as a company, and meet our clients’ unique needs, we are growing the team but also increasing our capability and skill set.”
Mr Eaton says Greenstone Group has a three-step project management approach that encompasses ideas, transformation and reality.
“Our job is to help transform a client’s idea into reality. A key part of that is providing the best advice possible, ensuring all the parties are delivering what they need to on projects and taking everyone along on the same journey, which requires unique skills and knowledge.
“We want people who have great ideas, can lead projects and work with clients to get the results they want, and resolve any issues that may arise along the way quickly and efficiently.”
Greenstone’s move to 1 Broadway also allows for further expansion with plans to grow the team as future projects start.
Greenstone’s recent large-scale projects include Project Management services for the redevelopment and expansion of the University of Auckland’s Recreation & Wellness Centre to accommodate growing student numbers.
The company has led a broad range of projects around the country including recently finishing the third and final stage of Auckland’s SugarTree apartments, completing the new town centre development at Long Bay, and being project managers on the University of Waikato’s award-winning $55 million Tauranga campus.
