Andy then moved to New Zealand where he graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Project Management. Andy’s multi-lingual skills are English, Mandarin, Fuchow and Bahasa Melayu. This gives him the ability to communicate professionally and coordinate well with both consultants and contractors.

Key strengths that Nigel brings to Greenstone Group include in-depth knowledge of all areas of construction, significant design management expertise, and experience in other leadership roles. He has also carried out the implementation of masterplans, managed the design, marketing, sales and project financing for clients.
Nigel’s success can in part be attributed to a positive, solution-oriented attitude. His strong communication skills, combined with considerable local and overseas experience, enable him to deliver complex, high-quality projects on time and on budget.

Bruce Ramsay

Bruce is professionally trained in a wide spectrum of design disciplines ranging from Interior Design, which predominated in his early working experience (1975 – 1987 and again from 2000 to 2002), to large scale Architectural, Master Planning and Urban Design projects, which predominated from 1987 to 1999 and from 2002 to present. This has provided Bruce exposure to a wide range of clients and to diverse and challenging projects in both design and development management capacities.

An emphasis on good governance, creating value, change management and ensuring there is a clearly articulated strategy has seen Mike take a leadership role as Chairman in a number of these companies.
Through his own company which was co-founded in 2002 he has been able to continue mentoring individuals, work as an adviser with a number of companies at management and board level and volunteer as a telephone Lifeline counselor.
A strong leader who has the ability and experience to work along side individuals, business owners and Boards.

Darryl Fox
Regional Director

Darryl Fox is the Regional Director for our Tauranga office. For 19 years Darryl has lead and managed the development of significant mixed-use projects. His particular expertise is in managing the development and project management process for large, integrated shopping centres and hotel projects.
Before joining Greenstone Group, Darryl worked for eight years in the Middle East with Mace International on a wide array of high profile projects covering retail, hospitality, leisure, residential and infrastructure in the region. His final project was Doha Festival City in Qatar, a mixed-use retail development consisting of a 260,000m2 super-regional shopping mall, a 32,000m2 IKEA store, hotel and motel show rooms with a value of around US$1.65 billion. As senior project manager Darryl was responsible for the main mall package, which had a budget of US$500m.
Darryl has delivered projects at the highest level throughout the United Kingdom, Africa and the Middle East and continues to do so in his role with Greenstone Group.
In his current role he oversees the project management of a number of ongoing projects, including two of our strategic clients. He is also charged with developing the Greenstone Group business in the Bay of Plenty region. To do this Darryl places strong emphasis on clearly defining the project’s objectives up front to ensure all parties’ expectations are aligned and the project team work towards a common goal.
Strong managerial skills and a specialised technical understanding of the construction cycle and the associated contractual and costing requirements are crucial skills Darryl has displayed through years of results. He thrives on the challenge of delivering the end product to the client within budget, on time and to the required quality standards.

Shane Davis

Shane has been in the construction industry for more than 30 years. His career began in design, working for several leading architectural practices before progressing into project management with the Carson Group and Coffey Projects. He then joined Greenstone Group, becoming a partner in 2012.
This holistic experience makes Shane an expert at adding value at the front end of projects, where planning, strategy and building highly effective teams are essential to project success.
Shane has considerable experience in successfully delivering large, complex and challenging projects over a range of sectors. Recent projects in which Shane has taken a leading role include the Auckland City Hospital, Auckland Art Gallery, Hilton Hotel Queenstown, Te Awa at the Base in Hamilton and the Sugartree Apartments.

Robert Dol

In his 25 years in the construction industry, Robert has held positions from grassroots to senior management, amassing significant skills in community/stakeholder liaison, financial control, contract administration, design management, value engineering and life cycle management.
Robert attributes his success to a unique application of technical and interpersonal skills. In his role at Greenstone Group, Robert has negotiated numerous complex projects in many sectors, including education, health, telecommunications, leisure, multi-unit residential and resorts.
Robert sits on the Ministry of Justice’s Property Advisory Panel. In addition to this role, he is also involved with the HCC Environmental Sustainability Strategy Liaison Group, and has been the Waikato branch president of the Property Council of New Zealand since 2011.

Phil Eaton

As Managing Director, Phil jointly leads the team at Greenstone Group. He has been in the property industry for 20 years, gaining significant experience working with large companies including BNZ, St. Lukes Group, Westfield, SKYCITY, and Multiplex before joining us in 2007.
In his career Phil has led a number of successful projects and developed a multitude of skills. These include design management, development feasibilities and development strategies for office, retail and residential projects.
While employed at Multiplex, Phil headed the development team on Deloitte House, 80 Queen Street, a 5-star Greenstar, 21-level office building with a value of $180m.
As a development director, Phil has led projects through their design, consenting and delivery phases. He has designed and implemented property strategies, including major tenant negotiation strategies, to deliver optimal results for his clients.
Phil was responsible for the business development of SkyCity, leading two major new business initiatives and the set up of a new casino. Other examples of his work include the leasing strategy, related design management and managing the implementation for a $100m retail mall in Hamilton; managing the design, consenting, feasibility and leasing for an $80m retail mall in Albany; managing the design, consenting and feasibility for a masterplanned 8ha development in Mt Wellington and providing project direction and leading the feasibility, design and final delivery for a $50m social housing initiative in Auckland.
