Greenstone Group managed this mixed-use retail centre project in Stonefields, Auckland.
This consisted of 15 retail tenancies and 730m2 of office space on the upper level. There are a range of tenants including a Speight’s Ale House bar and restaurant, a Bayley’s Real Estate office, Charlie and George cafe, a hairdresser, and various other local services and facilities.
Responsible for the project management including the design, procurement, construction and tenant fit out phases of the project, Greenstone Group took a comprehensive and thorough role in this development. This also included managing both building and building modifications consent processes.
In order to manage the design process of the project, Greenstone Group liaised extensively with Auckland Council to ensure the end result met the expectations of our client and all other parties. A value engineering process was also implemented to ensure project budgets were achieved without sacrificing the quality of the final product.
Greenstone Group prepared the construction contract, managed a competitive tender process and awarded a fixed price lump sum contract to the successful tenderer on behalf of the client. Once the construction contract was awarded Greenstone managed the project from the top down, including construction, contract management, acting as Engineer to the Contract and also as tenancy coordinator for Todd Property.
